this morning.

i put on my favorite shirt .

and walked in to see this...

No breathing tube...she it doing well breathing on her own. Needing more oxygen then we did at home, but she needs it to help recover.

This next picture is beautiful, I got to see her open her eyes...but sad at the same time because she looks so helpless, and medicated. She is doing amazing though and was even able to drink a few ounces of pedylight.

I kept refreshing the blog this morning to get an update:) Love your shirt! In the picture with Darla Jane and her eyes open, she looks so much like Katelyn! Happy to see the super star continues to amaze us all

Our Little Darla Jane was born on March 30th and was diagnosed, within the first day of life, with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. We did not know anything about HLHS when she was born and knew very little about congenital heart defects at all. Over time we have learned more. We have also been helped by others who have traveled a similar journey.
We hope this blog will help keep family and friends informed on how well she is doing as she travels along this journey in her life. We also hope that as people read this blog we will be able to raise awareness for congenital heart defects as well as help others who might be traveling along a similar path.
