Wednesday, March 30th.

At about 5:30 or 6 on the evening of Wednesday, March 30th I started to get a few strong contractions. Nathan had left for work about a half hour before that and Geeg was there with the kids and I. She was thinking we should call Nathan to come home. I thought at least to call him and put him on call. So she did. A few more strong contractions and Geeg decided he just needed to come home. So he did and we were off to provo. We decided that at least being close was a good idea if this was really it. We got down near the hospital Nathan thought we should just walk the hospital, then we'd really be close enough. Will all it took a walk down the hallway and we knew it was time to head up the elevator. I was checked and was at a 5 and i got checking in. The labor wasn't going as fast as my previous so we decided to have Geeg come down with the kids for a while. They were able to hang out for a while and then about 9:30 we decided it was time to push. Hoping it would take to long Patty and the kids just went to the waiting room. And at 10:03 pm our beautiful little Darla Jane was born after just pushing through 3 contractions. She was born at 6 and a half lbs and 18 1/5 inches long. With a head full of red hair. She was looking as healthy as could be.She and I were able to get cleaned up (for the most part) before the kids decided it was time for them to come in. They were able to come in and we were able to spend time together for the first time of a family of 6.
